Facet beta · 50 spots

Play it before
anyone else does.

Facet launches on 5 November. Until then there is a build on TestFlight for iPhone, a closed test on Google Play for Android, and fifty people who get to break it first.

iPhone

Apple TestFlight

Beta builds on iPhone install through TestFlight, Apple’s own free app. No approval to wait for.

  1. Install TestFlight from the App Store.
  2. Tap the button below on your iPhone, then Accept and Install.
  3. Facet lands on your home screen. Updates arrive through TestFlight.
Join on TestFlight

If TestFlight says the beta is full or not accepting testers, leave your email and an invitation is sent to you directly.

Android

Google Play closed test

Google only lets in accounts that have been added to the tester list, and that is done by hand. So there is one step of waiting.

  1. Send the email of the Google account your Play Store is signed in to.
  2. Wait for the email saying you have been added, usually the same day. Sending your address does not give you access by itself.
  3. Open the opt-in page below, signed in to that same account, tap Become a tester, then install from Google Play.
Step 3: opt in on Google Play

Until you have been added, that page says the app is not available. That is expected, not broken.

Request an invite

Step one on Android, and the fallback on iPhone. Invites are sent by hand while the beta is small.

On Android, use the Google account your Play Store is signed in to. Access is given to that exact address and to no other.

Your phone

Your email is used to send your invite and to tell you when the game is out. Nothing else, and it is not passed to anyone. The privacy policy covers what the game itself collects.

Or email support@burgundysoft.io for an invite.

Already playing? Say what you found.

Entirely optional, and a single line is plenty. What confused you, what you enjoyed, and any bug you ran into. Your device and OS version help but are not required.

What you are signing up for

You get the whole game
All six worlds, 120 levels, the daily puzzle. Not a demo slice.
It will be rough in places
That is the point. The bugs you find are the ones that do not ship.
One thing is asked of you
Tell me when something feels wrong, even if you cannot say why. Especially then.
And one thing on launch day
If you liked it, a review on 5 November is worth more than anything else you could do.
